Covid-19 update. 17th March 2020.

Hi All, So far early into this epidemic I urge you to check regularly on this website and on our Facebook page as to current developments and cancellations.

We do not wish to cause panic but there will be , at least a few events that are cancelled due to ongoing panic.

The first of which is the very important Secretaries meet where your secretary or his nominee attends … it has been cancelled.

The most recent is the Godmersham Hall Classic and fair .. which will not go ahead. The Doug Hodson Drive Out will also be deferred till later in the year. Once a more clear picture is obtained you will all be updated.

I admit there will be others and I urge you to check our Facebook page frequently to get a definitive idea of what is being cancelled. Including section meetings at The Moat.

Hopefully will keep you all updated as much as is possible and you should frequently check our face book page and e-mails from our secretary Jeff Kaby for updates on the current situation.

Please let us know on our Facebook page if you have any further information.

UPDATE …

CANCELLATION OF AROC SPRING ALFA DAY 2020 – YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK – SUNDAY 19TH APRIL

After much consideration, taking in account the current government guidance regarding mass gatherings, it is with much regret that the AROC UK Board have taken the decision to cancel Spring Alfa Day on Sunday 19th April. We have not taken this decision lightly, but the health of our members and the wider public must take priority during this unprecedented outbreak.

Full refunds will be processed this week, but please be patient and allow up to 14 days for the transactions to clear (hopefully much sooner, but there are a large volume of transactions to process).

We will of course continue to carefully monitor the situation and follow Public Heath England’s guidelines regarding all events and gatherings.

We hope to see you all later in the year, and I am sure we will return to the animals in Yorkshire in the future.

Best regards P
