The list of Members, their Alfa’s and car Reg Numbers who have applied for a free ticket to display their cars at the British Touring Car Championship opening round on Sunday 8th April will be sent to Brands Hatch this coming Monday, I have sent a message to all those on my list with further information, if you have not received the other message, but feel you should have, please contact me ASAP?
At Thursdays meeting I mentioned the discount voucher available for 10% off when you purchase at Halfords, even if the items are already discounted, some members did not know of this offer, the vouchers can be downloaded from the club website at www.aroc-uk.com I know this is often mentioned on the Official AROC Facebook, but also know that not all do Facebook.
We will again be organising an event at Hever Castle, to be held on Saturday 16th June (Fathers Day Weekend), so please put this in your diary, more information will be available soon but at this stage we think it will be a free entry again for members arriving in an Alfa Romeo.
The Club will shortly be holding a meeting for Section Secretaries and Chairman John has been kind enough to go in my place, if you have any questions you would like John to put forward at the meeting, please send them through to me and I will pass them on to John?
The meeting at the ‘Dog & Bear’ Lenham went well, it is a nice place to meet and chat about all things Alfa over a wee drinky, I will let you know where the meeting will be in March as soon as this has been decided.
There has been very little interest so far in the Ten Pin Bowling that I mentioned in the last update, please let me know if you are interested and your preferred venue?
